Our journey began in 2010 with Sagar, where we built our reputation on authentic Indian cuisine, warm hospitality and looking after every guest who walked through our doors. When the pandemic brought that chapter to an unexpected end in 2020, we were determined that our passion for great food and genuine service wouldn’t end there. In February 2021, Samrat was born. Many of the same experienced team, with over 15 years of working together, continued the journey with the same commitment to quality, consistency and making every guest feel welcome. Today, Samrat is proud to serve Seaham and the surrounding communities with authentic Indian flavours, freshly prepared dishes and the friendly service that has always been at the heart of everything we do.
